Welcoming Reception for New Supreme Court of Canada Judges
On Wednesday, January 18, 2012, the Faculty of Law hosted a welcoming reception for the newly-appointed justices of the Supreme Court of Canada, the Honourable Mr. Justice Michael J. Moldaver and the Honourable Madam Justice Andromache Karakatsanis. This reception is in keeping with a tradition instituted several years ago by the law school to welcome all newly-appointed judges of the Supreme Court. The evening began with a formal welcoming at 5:00 p.m. in the Gowlings Moot Court, followed by a reception in the Tsampalieros Atrium on the third floor.
